Arid Perspective
Ryan Michael Lellis, 2004
One of my later assignments from Intro to Drawing at Texas Tech. The floor was supposed to be square checkers, but I was shading tiles on auto-pilot and accidentally filled one adjacent to another. I think it turned out ok though. I am most proud of the bricks, but the sun rays definitely need work.
Sitting in the hallway constructing the framework of the piece, I did not have a plan for what should be outside the window. I rushed it because of a due date. Apparently this is my subconscious impression of West Texas.
